Strawberry Party Favors:
Use strawberry baskets lined with green tissue paper and use the following ideas to fill them:
- Strawberry pot pourri sachets
- Small strawberry jam jars
- Strawberry candies
- Strawberry candles
- Strawberry lip balm
- Strawberry lotions or creams
- Strawberry scented bath soaps
Strawberry Puzzle - Cut out and laminate 5 or 6 strawberry shapes from red paper. Cut each into 2 piece puzzles using different curves and angles. Invite the children to put together the red strawberry halves.
Strawberry Game Ideas:
Bobbing for Strawberries - the person that pulls out the most strawberries wins (psst.... no hands allowed)
Strawberry Relay - divide guests into 2 teams. Using only a spoon held in their mouth with a strawberry on it, each person must run a set distance and return, then transfer the strawberry to the next person's spoon, all without dropping the strawberry! If the strawberry falls, the player must pick it up again only using the spoon.
Strawberry Hot Potato - use a black magic marker to paint "seeds" on red balloons. Fill the balloons with water. Standing in a circle, guests will then toss the 'hot strawberry' around the circle. If the strawberry breaks, the person who was the recipient of the strawberry gush is out!
Strawberry Toss - Make three strawberry shaped bean bags out of red felt. You can dot them with fine-tipped sharpie or if you have more time, you can embroider speckles on it before sewing them together. I used yellow thread. You can find a bushel basket,for the children to toss the bags into.
Pinata's are always fun no matter the occassion!
Kids and adults alike will have a great time beating up this not so squishy strawberry trying to break all the
yummy goodies inside!
